Abstract

It is a fact that MSME plays an important role in the economic development of any nation. In this regard, most previous research has focused on improving the performance of MSMEs. However, this research stream does not investigate the antecedents of the most important element of MSME performance, namely supply chain performance. Consequently, this study aims to examine how the supply chain management factors of information exchange, sustained connections, collaboration, and integration processes impact supply chain performance in the MSME sector. This study employs a quantitative research design with a sample of 100 producers and distributors of rice bran from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Banten Province, Indonesia. In this investigation, SmartPLS 3.0 software was used to conduct a Structural Equation Model (SEM) data analysis. Information exchange positively and significantly affects supply chain performance, as do long-term relationships, collaboration, and process integration.
